Passenger train categories
Categories of passenger trains vary depending on the following factors:
one. Following range
Passenger trains are divided into long-distance and suburban (up to 200 km, JSC "FPK" does not serve) depending on the distance and conditions of travel.
2 Movement speed
There are high-speed, fast and passenger trains:
- high-speed passenger trains should have a route speed of at least 91 km / h with allowable speeds in the range of 141-200 km / h;
- fast passenger trains should have a route speed of 50 km / h to 91 km / h;
- passenger trains have a route speed of less than 50 km / h.
3. Regularity of movement
Passenger trains are divided into year-round, seasonal and one-time trains.
4. Frequency of movement
Passenger trains are divided into daily, the next in a day (odd or even numbers), the next in days of the week or days of the month.
5. The level of service provided
Passenger trains with high-class service and a wide range of services are assigned a category "Corporate". Trains serviced by rolling stock are divided into superior trains and without the provision of additional services.

Types of passenger cars:
All wagons of trains AO "FPK" equipped with a heating system (works in the winter, canned in the summer). Depending on the class of service, cars can be equipped with dry closets, air conditioners (they work during the summer period, they are preserved for the winter period), and additional paid services can be provided., included in the fare.
All passenger cars are equipped with boilers or coolers, and passengers are provided with chilled boiled or bottled water.

On the locomotive:
Class cars "Suite"
The cars have several varieties: with six compartments in the car, with five and with four. In the cars in which there are four compartments, a lounge bar is equipped.
Class compartment carriage "Suite" more than the standard 1.5 times in the car with six compartments and 2 times – with four. There are 2 sleeping places in the compartment: it is a sofa, which is transformed into a half-double bed 120 cm wide, and the top shelf is 90 cm wide. In the compartment there is a chair and a folding table.
In each compartment there is an individual bathroom with a washbasin, a vacuum toilet, which functions even when stationary, and a shower (in a car with four compartments – a shower cabin). The floor in the bathroom is heated.
Class compartment carriage "Suite" equipped with individual air conditioning, a TV, DVD-player and radio.
In the car there are 8 or 9 double compartments with lying places, two toilets with sinks.
The compartment has two lower or lower and upper berths, a table, a mirror on the compartment door and walls (except for transformers), clothes hangers, space for hand luggage.
The compartment passenger car has 9 four-seater compartments, 2 toilets with washbasins.
In each compartment there are two upper and lower shelves, a table, a mirror on the compartment door, clothes hangers, space for hand luggage.
These are cars that have signs of two types of cars ("Suite" and CB or CB and coupe).
A reserved passenger car has 9 open-type compartments, 2 toilets with washbasins.
The car is designed for 54 berths, with 4 seats in each compartment: two lower seats, two upper and 18 lateral seats: upper and lower. In each compartment, as well as on the side seats there is a table, space for hand luggage, coat hooks.

Carriages with seating
These cars are equipped with comfortable seating.
The cars are divided into cars with a standard arrangement of seats (50-70), with an improved (up to 50) saloon type and cars based on the compartment car. There are 2 toilets with sinks in the cars.
Also in the trains run double-deck compartment cars, NE cars and with seats.
In international traffic (except for the CIS and Baltic countries, China, Mongolia, North Korea), rail cars run "Suite", ST and compartment cars of RIC size. In the CIS countries and the Baltic States, China, Mongolia, North Korea ply standard (as in the interstate traffic) cars "Suite"SV and compartment.
In addition, trains run in domestic and international traffic. "Swift" with wagons (compartment wagons, wagons with seating, CB, "Suite"a) manufactured by TALGO;
Motor rolling stock
In inter-regional communication pitch trains run "Swallow" and other electric and diesel trains with seating.
The number of seats depends on the design of the car.
The principal difference of the rolling stock from the composition on the locomotive is that all or some of the cars are equipped with engines designed for traction and passenger cabins. In a train with a locomotive burden, the cars are not self-propelled.
