The material was prepared and edited by Elena and Eugene Lugovoy.
Every person in this world is special, and is a creative guide and concentrator of various energies of the Universe. The quality and character of these energy flows depends on the purity and harmonic of the individual. Wise yoga gestures teach us to properly use and control the flow of energy.
Mudra, translated from Sanskrit, means givering joy, another translation option is a seal, a “gesture”, a lock, a closure; in Hinduism and Buddhism – the symbolic, ritual arrangement of the hands, ritual sign language.
Mudras are an oriental practice that distributes cosmo-bioenergy through thin channels inside and around the human body. In other words, this is a kind of gymnastics – yoga of the hands, which allows you to control energies, or exercises to influence the bio points and energy channels of the fingers. And if absolutely simple, then wise is a powerful way of influencing oneself, thanks to which one can gain inner peace and health. This is one of the most proven, centuries-tested method of self-improvement, which can be practiced anytime, anywhere.
Mudras came from the depths of millennia, from the pre-Aryan period of Indian history. Hindus believe that these movements, through their dance, conveyed to people Shiva, one of the three supreme gods of the Hindu pantheon – it is called the "power of cosmic dance creating the world". Ritual gestures – mudras were used in temple dances. From Hinduism Mudras came to Buddhism. The nine main mudras, called Buddha Mudras, were used to indicate the different stages of meditation. Then the mudras became one of the elements of Buddhist iconography – each position of the hands in the Buddha’s image carried a certain symbolism.
Many of these movements are universal, because hands are a tool for interacting with the world, and gestures are one of the ways of non-verbal communication. Hands serve as a conductor of a powerful flow of energy, so any movement with a brush causes a change in the electromagnetic field around the body. Skillful use of this practice helps to heal oneself and other people, balance male and female energy, gain inner strength and peace of mind, eliminate chronic fatigue and anxiety, significantly improve a person’s emotional state, get rid of fear and anger, relieves and cures many diseases, beneficially affects the entire human body.
(Attention! There are some features of describing the meaning and use of Mudra Yoga in Indian and Chinese techniques. This is due to the perception of multidimensional reality among Hindus and Chinese. There is no error, you can use the understanding of both systems together. Attention! The process of performing any mudra must be conscious, that is, strive to see and feel your multidimensionality, the energies of your aura, the vibrations of your karmic activity, your soul-atma. Then, execution will be orders of magnitude more efficient and faster than n “stupid” approach.)
