Hentai about children

The reader of The Voronezh Room asked us what manga is and how it differs from anime. We asked Mitya Chebotarev, an an expert in anime, to answer this question.

– If you explain in a simple way, then everyone knows what comics are. So, manga is the same comic book, but it was invented as early as the 12th century and, accordingly, carries a huge layer of cultural heritage, undergoing changes over the centuries.

Regarding the connection with the anime – everything is simple. Often the anime is just a manga version. And since this is an adaptation, the stylistics and artistic techniques are used the same, but with an eye to the fact that this is still an animation. But the industry is very developed, therefore, they only film top-rated works that have already gained popularity among readers. Well and, of course, there are studios that are taken simply for their own projects, creating an anime with their own plot, without foundation in the form of an anime or early (stories with illustrations).

Anime industry and everything connected with it is now in third position in the line of profits of Japan, after electronics and automotive. Mangaki (manga authors), if they are gaining popularity, they become millionaires, because people of all ages in Japan, from small children to old people, read the manga. Manga itself is divided by age categories and even by sex. The number of genres is simply huge. Manga for girls (Sjo), manga about girls-wizards (Maho-Sedze), manga for boys (senens), manga for girls and boys who are already twenty years old, that is, for young people (this is respectively dzey for girls and seynen for guys). For adults and older people there are about family and life principles.

Actually this is the main value of anime before the animation of the West. The bottom line is that the West, originally from Disney, was rapidly developing in terms of animating characters. So we came from Mickey Mouse to “How to Train Your Dragon 2,” in which the animation of the characters’ emotions is amazing. Japanese studios did not have such big money to invest in animation – so they decided to compete with the plot, the complexity and depth of the characters, the elaboration of trifles. Therefore, we can see at first sight incomprehensible purple hair or big eyes. All of these, from the point of view of an inexperienced spectator, are oddities — their meaning, meant to denote the character of the character, to reveal it. This is the specificity of anime – your own way in displaying emotions and characters. If the West was striving for realism, then Japan and the East, on the contrary, rejected realism, and created their own world with geishas and shogi, so to speak.

And now let’s learn a little more about the genres of anime.
