The program for working with “difficult children”, children of “risk groups” provides for the formation of the moral way of school life, ensuring the creation of an appropriate social environment for the development of students, traditional moral norms, implemented in the joint social and educational activities of the school, family and other subjects of public life.

The program also aims to develop a culture of healthy and safe lifestyle. The need to give each child, given his psychophysical abilities, the level of education and training that will help him not to get lost in society, find his place in life, and also develop his potential abilities.

Children at risk

The number of schoolchildren who are identified as students with deviant behavior, unfortunately, increases every year because the number of provoking factors contributing to the formation of deviant behavior increases. The instability of the economic situation, domestic troubles, insufficient level of family education, (in general, unhealthy lifestyle in society) lead to such phenomena as: mass impoverishment of families; antisocial behavior of children and adults; unemployment; low level of ethical, aesthetic, patriotic education; child crime, aggression, drug addiction. This problem has ceased to be only psychological and educational. She became social. And the evidence of this is the adoption in 1999 of the Federal Law “On the basis of the system for the prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency

The process of personal development depends on the surrounding social space, the subjects of which are the family, school, peers, the teenager himself, etc. The most characteristic of such deviations are for children of adolescence,

The transition of the student to the main school coincides with the precritical phase of child development – the transition to a crisis of younger adolescence (11-13 years, 5-7 classes), characterized by the beginning of the transition from childhood to adulthood, in which the emergence and developing his self-awareness – the notion that he is no longer a child, that is, feelings of adulthood, as well as the inner reorientation of the adolescent from the rules and restrictions related to the morality of obedience to the norms adult behavior.

Moral, positively oriented environment has a positive effect on the formation of the child’s personality 11-14 years. Each teacher, and the social teacher, most often in his practice, one way or another, has to deal with children of deviant behavior. When faced with such children, normal pedagogical approaches no longer work. However, school teachers often have to deal with children and adolescents whose social space leaves much to be desired. Hence the deviations in behavior. These are deviations from the norms in the state of health (disturbance in physical or mental health, accentuation of character), disturbance in the sphere of interpersonal relations (the child is isolated in the classroom, rejected in the group of free communication, conflicted, alienated, uncontrolled). Errors of teachers (excess of pedagogical power, deprivation of a child of individual incentives, punishment and humiliation of the child’s personality, conflict situations between the student’s parents and the teacher or between the student and the teacher). Mistakes of family upbringing (zalaskannoe, crushed, ruined, lonely or indifferent childhood; lack of basic psychological and pedagogical knowledge of parents, shifting parenting concerns to school, this is relevant at this time for young parents, the adolescent’s removal from physical, domestic work, conflicts in family). Social causes, traumatic situations (divorce of parents, death of loved ones, change of residence).

Often, as a result of the above reasons, a teenager comes into conflict with the law. The basis of the unlawful behavior of minors is motivated by: suggestion, imitation, impulsivity, motives of a situational nature, false self-assertion, group behavior. In relation to the term teen "difficulty of reproducibility" means the immunity and resistance of the educated pedagogical impact. This is usually due to the lag of the individual in positive development, hence the manifestations of developmental deficiencies, incorrect attitudes in behavior, negative character traits, unhealthy needs, etc. And, as a result, first "difficult" children and schoolchildren, and then adults with persistent negative qualities of character and deviations in behavior. Focusing on my observations and research in our school, I can distinguish the following types of groups:

  1. Children from dysfunctional families;
  2. Pedagogically neglected children;
  3. Children with behavioral abnormalities;
  4. Children in problem situations;
  5. Children experiencing a lack of communication.

Thus, this problem is highly relevant. Therefore, to solve it, it is necessary to systematize the previous work, to develop an optimal technology that would not fit the child to the pattern of requirements, but to make adjustments to his behavior, promote student self-development, and recognize the right to choose their own path for each.

The principle of the leading role of the educational impact of class life and school-wide activities.
