Pineapple Salad Recipe

Today we will prepare the Pineapple salad with chicken, cheese and nuts, very simple, but nevertheless beautiful and incredibly tasty. Undoubtedly, it will decorate your holiday table and will please guests.

Pineapple Salad Recipe

Ingredients: (for 6-8 servings)

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 300 g canned pineapples (about 500-600 ml jar)
  • 100 g of hard cheese
  • 100 g peeled walnuts
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100-150 g of mayonnaise
  • some green onions

Cooking:

First put boil chicken breast and eggs. Pour water into a saucepan with chicken a little, just above the breast, and cook on low heat for 45-50 minutes under a lid. You can put a whole peeled onion, then the chicken and broth will be tastier. Minutes for 10-15 minutes until ready, salt the broth. While the eggs and chicken are boiling, fry the walnuts in a dry frying pan. Nuts are roasted for long and must be stirred almost constantly, so as not to burn. Then pour them into a bowl.

Cooled nuts cut into not very small pieces.

Pineapples are extracted from the jar and cut into slices. The size of the pieces determine for themselves. I like, for example, when in a salad pineapple cubes are small, and my daughter always does with large pieces, about 1 cm x 1 cm, or more simply, a rather large piece of a can is cut in half. So the taste of pineapple is felt more, and the salad turns out to be somehow juicier.

Cooked eggs are cooled, cleaned and cut into small cubes.

By this time, the chicken probably already cooked. Cool it, cut into small cubes. We will need no more than 300-350 g, so if the breast is large, do not cut it all. Chopped breast water 1-2 tbsp. spoons of pineapple syrup from the jar and mix a little.

Cheese rubbed on a coarse grater.

All components of the pineapple salad are ready. We take a large salad bowl and shift the chicken, eggs, pineapples and cheese into it. Add the garlic passed through the press, salt to taste.

Add mayonnaise and mix the salad. The amount of mayonnaise, too, determine for yourself. In principle, a 100-gram sachet is enough, but the salad turns out to be a little dry. Therefore, if you like mayonnaise, put 150 grams. Mayonnaise, by the way, you can quickly cook yourself using a blender, it turns out very tasty and great for salad. Put the prepared salad mass on a suitable dish, well, if it is oval, and try to give the salad the shape of a pineapple.

Well, there was only a little – sprinkle the salad with chopped walnuts and make a tail out of onion. Nuts press a little, so as not to crumble.

That was such a beautiful salad turned out Pineapple with chicken, cheese and nuts, and what a delicious! And you can also put on top not chopped nuts, but whole halves, also slightly roasted. True, for my taste, it is more pleasant to eat salad, when the nuts are small and mixed with the main mass.
