Today I have an unusual recipe, today we were preparing dances, but probably not everyone knows what it is. We also did not know, yesterday my daughter asked me to bake a very tasty cake, we sat down with her and started looking for recipes for “very tasty cakes” and on one of the sites we found a dance recipe, without hesitation we went, bought the necessary products, and today we decided cook this yummy. So, dancing is baking in western Ukraine, and this is not a cake or a cake, but various cakes, creams, toppings that blend very well with each other. In western Ukraine, weddings, religious holidays bake from 5 to 15 different types of dances. They are baked in various forms, they are rectangular baked goods, they are poured on top with a variety of cream or chocolate fudge, sprinkled with coconut chips, finely chopped nuts, chopped waffles and chocolate. After cooking, the cutlets are cut into individual cakes.
We prepared the dance for the first time, so do not judge strictly, but it turned out really very tasty, so if you cook the dance, I think you will not regret it.
200 grams of margarine
150 grams of sour cream
1 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons of milk
2 tablespoons cocoa
200 grams of cottage cheese (curd not grained)
8 tablespoons of coconut chips
1 glass of milk
1 tablespoon flour (with a slide, but not big)
1 tablespoon butter
From the beginning we need to cook coconut balls, as we need to remove them for 30 minutes in the freezer.
Put cottage cheese on a plate, add yolk and 8 tbsp. spoons of coconut chips.
All this needs to be well rubbed to a smooth mass, that’s what I did.
Then from this curd mass we need to roll the balls, it is necessary to distribute the curd mass into 20 balls, their size turned out not to be a big walnut.
Then we put these balls in the freezer for 30 minutes, and in the meantime, we will prepare the dough, it took me exactly 30 minutes to prepare the dough. So the ingredients for the test.
We grind margarine with sugar, margarine should be very soft, then rub it well with sugar, we add one egg to this mass, we add egg, everything is well stirred, and we add the following.
Then we add sour cream.
Mix everything well, add about half a cup of flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder to the beginning.
Mix everything well, then gradually add the remaining flour and mix the dough well so that there are no lumps. I got a dough resembling a thick cream.
We need to divide this dough in half, one part will be white, the other part we add cocoa.
It was necessary to mix the dough well with cocoa, and then gradually add milk and mix everything well again, but we immediately added milk, and then the dough was mixed well.
Here is a chocolate turned dough.
Next, take a rectangular shape, slightly grease it with vegetable oil on all sides. Next, distribute the white dough in the form, and from above you need to distribute the chocolate dough.
Then we take our coconut balls out of the freezer and distribute them in chocolate dough, I press these balls into the dough a little.
We put our dancing in the oven heated to 200 degrees, I baked it for 40 minutes.
Then we prepare the cream, you need to mix milk and sugar, add flour and mix everything well so that there are no lumps, cook over low heat, but constantly stirring, because the cream can burn, as soon as the cream boils, it will become thick, add to it one spoonful of butter. Ready to get the dancer out of the oven and top with cream grease.

Honestly, I don’t really like coconut chips, and in balls we have coconut chips, I think how it will taste, I want to say that the taste exceeded all my expectations, it really is such a taste.
We cut the dancers, as it should be on small cakes.
