The family as the moral dominant of folk pedagogy

At the present stage of development of society, national pedagogy should be manifested, primarily in family education, since the family is the educational cradle of man. The moral ethnopedagogy of all nations is the idea of a family. The people associated their hopes for a better future with the well-being of the family and pursued the desire for a prosperous life through the family. Here we should emphasize the dual role of the family in human society, on the one hand, it is a model of society, on the other hand, an intimate sphere, where the spiritual and physical potential of a person is fully revealed.

Human life is born in the family, it grows to create a new family, lives for the welfare of the family and folk pedagogy from the day of birth begins to prepare a person for family life. The theme of the family is in lullabies, in communication between parents and the baby, in counting, patters, fairy tales, legends and myths that the baby hears from an early age and

With their example, conversations, and stories, parents form the ideal of a family and family member (father, mother, son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather, grandson, granddaughter, brother, sister) in the soul of a child. Postulates – edifications – the people’s pedagogical technology of the formation of a family man. They raise children from three to about nine years old. Postulates – edifications consist of two cores, between which there is a formal causal relationship, but in essence there is no connection.

“Not my floor across the boards, but the husband will be crooked.” The first core is the requirement, the indication, the wish of adults for children and it has cultural, hygienic, labor, moral and behavioral content; this is the formal reason – the condition of the whole utterance. The second core has a family educational content and acts as a consequence of a threat if the “condition” of the first core is not fulfilled.

It should emphasize the psychological nature of the postulates – edifications. An understanding of the fate-bearing nature of each case, each action is formed in the consciousness (subconscious) of the child, and a sense of responsibility for their own actions is formed. The effect is achieved by the fact that insignificant untidiness, carelessness, mistake, lack of culture can be followed by infinitely more punishment. Postulates – edification – a tool of spiritual communication between adults and children.

People’s pedagogical form of individual education is the name of the child. By revealing to the child the ideals that they have put into the name given to him, the parents form in the child’s mind the ideal of who he is now (son, grandson, brother, pupil and

A son is raised as a future son, therefore he must be strong, strong, hardworking, intelligent, skillful, business-like, respectful, strong-willed, wise and

The husband is the breadwinner and the protection of the family, the wife is the keeper of the hearth, the multiplier of good, the teacher of children.

Relationship to the family, the ability to perform their role in the family appear in folk pedagogy as the highest criteria. They are laid in early childhood. At the time of the children’s games against the boy, which causes annoyance with his incompetence and awkwardness, the children drop such an accusation: “From you neither a daughter nor a son will be born, if he is born, he will not survive.” [2, p. 55]

At all times, the family has been valuable. Take, for example, a baby taking the first steps and babbling the first words, and an old man of old,

Putting their dominant family, folk pedagogy had perfect forms, methods and means of upbringing in the family, but the family prepared the child not only for life in the family, but also for life in society, for activity in social production, in public affairs. [3,

Thus, in folk pedagogy, the family is the highest value; the ability to create and maintain a family, with dignity to perform their social family roles in folk pedagogy are the highest criteria for evaluating a person.
