Lymph node tablets

Lymphadenitis is an inflammation that affects the lymph nodes (they can be inflamed on the neck, in the groin). They represent the large lymphatic system of the body. Their function is to filter the lymph secreted from the internal organs.

In a number of situations they can increase, and this process is accompanied by painful sensations. The causes of this condition are based on an infection that penetrates the human body and affects the lymph nodes at the cellular level.

It is antibiotics for inflammation of the lymph nodes – the only way to stop the disease and avoid dangerous consequences. In a protracted process, it’s very difficult to guess how the disease will behave.

Indications for use of antibiotics

Lymph is an extracellular fluid whose function is to clean the internal environment of the body.

Any bacteria that enter the human body will first be repelled by the lymphatic system. When violations of their functioning, inflammation of the lymph nodes can be observed visually.

Which antibiotic medication to take depends on the course of the disease, and by what signs it is characterized. Indications for use are as follows:

  • Foci of inflammation have formed in the body, the culprits of which are staphylococcus, streptococcus, gonococcus and other microorganisms.
  • Penetration of various viruses, plus infectious diseases like hepatitis, rubella, herpes and others.
  • Diseases of the breast.
  • Malignant neoplasm.

If the inflammation of the lymph nodes is due to complications of diseases like flu, scarlet fever, sore throat, adenoiditis, antibiotic drugs cannot be taken.

Bacteria entering the body are spread through it along with the bloodstream. And during that period when the patient comes to the doctor, it is not always possible to establish the place of infection.

As a result, not one lymph node, but more than two, can be affected by pathogenic flora.

In the overwhelming majority of cases, doctors try to cope with the help of drug therapy, but when complications arise (adenophlegmon or abscess) and therapy does not bring positive results, surgical intervention is applied.

Antibiotics for inflammation of the lymph nodes actively influence the inflammatory process at an early stage, rule out the occurrence of complications and lead to a speedy recovery, are used in the treatment of inflammation of lymph nodes in the neck, for example.

The most productive drugs:

  1. Flemoxine, Amoxiclav (available in tablets).
  2. Ampicillin and Amoxicillin.
  3. Ceftazidime and Ceftriaxone.

The treatment takes a week to two hours. As a rule, to its completion, the anti-inflammatory properties of antibiotics do an excellent job with the inflammation, and the patient’s well-being improves: the lymph nodes become smaller, the pain syndrome disappears and the patient recovers.

However, anti-inflammatory drugs show similar effectiveness only at early, and not neglected, stages of the process.

Which antibiotics are prescribed, only the doctor decides. At the same time, an analysis of the lymph node is carried out on an obligatory basis, its sensitivity to the active components of the agent is determined. Also, the patient is prescribed blood donation.

If the case of lymphadenitis is complex, there will not be enough standard tests, in this case the patient receives referral to a lymph node biopsy, CT scan or X-ray.

Unfortunately, the dangerous primary signs of such a disease cannot be visually detected, but only with the help of medical equipment.

To alleviate the patient’s condition, anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed, like glucocorticoids, which also provide additional stimulation to the human immune system. These drugs include Medrol, Prednisolone and similar drugs.

What anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed:

  • From the position of antibiotic drugs, doctors choose new-generation drugs that have a wide spectrum of action. Treatment by means of them occurs most quickly and with minimal stress on the body. Basically, the penicillin series is prescribed in the injected form. Doses of the drug should be administered to the patient at regular intervals.
  • When applying such an antibiotic as Augmentin, the course of treatment is the minimum period – just a week. He twice a day is introduced into the patient. In cases of a complicated form of the disease, the treatment may be delayed in time.
  • If a patient has a history of individual intolerance to penicillin-type drugs, the drugs are replaced by a tetracycline group or aminoglycosides, fluoroquinones and macrolides.
  • When purulent inflammation requires full-scale drug therapy, including anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and painkillers.

If the lymph nodes in the neck are inflamed, anti-inflammatory ointments may be prescribed as:

  1. Ointment Levomekol – a combined anti-inflammatory drug used for external use.
  2. Ointment Baneocin is a new generation ointment that includes two antibiotics, like neomycin and bacitracin. Provides a wide range of actions and suppresses the majority of pyogenic microorganisms.

In addition to conservative therapy, you can also treat with traditional medicine recipes that help speed up the healing process. However, it is worth knowing that if the lymph nodes are inflamed around the neck, it is strictly prohibited to heat them.

In order for the treatment to be successful, copious drinking is necessary in the fight against the disease. It is better to supplement ordinary water with herbal decoctions:

  1. Tincture of horsetail – 5 grams per 250 ml of water. Drink 5 times a day in equal parts, not more than 10 days.
  2. Flowers of elderberry, lavender and wormwood, 5 grams per 250 ml of water, drink as tea 2 times a day.

Treatment of lymphadenitis should be carried out under the supervision of a physician, with strict adherence to all recommendations. Only antibacterial therapy will cope with the disease, natural medicine is an auxiliary tool that will remove discomfort and strengthen the body as a whole.
