Before talking specifically about the effects of wheat on your body, you should talk about the process of glycation. It accelerates the aging of your body, including the skin, due to the abundance of sugar contained in your blood. That is why people with diabetes often feel much older than they really are – and they look the same. However, this effect does not apply exclusively to diabetics. It’s time to go back directly to the wheat and figure out how it relates to this.

There is one little-known fact that covers all sorts of advertising campaigns trying to convince people that wheat is good for your health. Wheat contains one unusual type of carbohydrate that cannot be found in other foods — amylopectin-A. As a result of the tests, it was found that this carbohydrate is capable of raising the blood sugar level even more than table sugar itself. In fact, amylopectin-A increases blood sugar levels more than any other carbohydrate that exists on Earth. This means that all products made from wheat, such as bread, bagels, muffins, and other bakery and flour products, often cause much higher levels of blood sugar than any other source of carbohydrates. Naturally, this triggers the glycation process in an enhanced mode, which accelerates the aging of the body.

Recently, corn is the basis of so many products – you can find corn syrup, corn grits, corn chips, butter. Naturally, you can eat and just corn – but is it worth it? As a matter of fact, many of the products in question here also greatly increase blood sugar levels, triggering glycation processes. But this is not the only thing that can harm you this product and its derivatives. The fact is that in the case of corn, blood sugar rises not because of glucose, but because of fructose. But scientists have found that fructose has a ten-fold effect on your aging processes more than glucose. Therefore, if you use corn-based products every day, you will very quickly begin to notice both external and internal signs of premature aging.

Other disadvantages of corn products

Another unpleasant point is the fact that corn products contain large amounts of omega-6 fatty acids, which leads to an imbalance, and it, in turn, can cause oxidation and inflammation, which, like glycation, leads to accelerated aging. Therefore, the best way in this case is to avoid or at least limit the use of both corn and products based on corn, since they can cause all three malicious processes simultaneously in your body that affect the acceleration of aging.

Sugar and sugar products

As you already understood from the preceding paragraphs, foods that raise the level of sugar in your blood should be avoided if you want to look and feel younger. Naturally, it is also directly about the sugar itself, which you can eat. You have most likely heard a thousand times about how sugar is harmful to your health for dozens of other reasons, including because of what it does with the waist, and also because of the possibility of developing diabetes. Now you still know that because of sugar, you can start aging faster.

Alternative to sugar

Instead of sugar, it is recommended to use natural non-nutritive sweeteners, such as stevia, in order to drink your daily tea or coffee, as well as in baking and in absolutely all other cases. This will greatly help you control your blood sugar and slow down aging. Thus, you will also have to think twice before eating sweet desserts, breakfast cereals, sweets and other sweets that speed up your aging. If you still can not live without sweet, you can use dark chocolate – it is, of course, also harmful, but it contains several times less sugar than any other type of dessert.

Vegetable oils

Vegetable oils are those that are obtained from natural products without additional processing, that is, soybean oil, rapeseed oil, and so on. On the market, they are often positioned as incredibly useful compared to butter and other types. However, if you at least understand anything about biochemistry, then you should understand how deceptive these advertising campaigns are, because what your oils create with your body cannot be called healthy. Firstly, all vegetable oils, that is, soybean, rapeseed, sunflower, corn and even cottonseed, in most cases were subjected to heat treatment under the influence of incredibly high temperatures. However, if only the temperature was used in the process, nothing terrible would happen – but manufacturers almost always use special chemical solvents, such as hexane, for processing, and you can easily imagine that there can be no question of any benefit here . As a result, you get an oil in which polyunsaturated fats have undergone a lot of oxidation and, accordingly, lead to serious inflammatory and oxidative processes inside your body. This creates free radicals that destroy cell membranes, which causes accelerated aging, as well as various cardiovascular diseases and other health problems. So if you want to stay healthy, then you need to abandon those types of oils that were listed above. Instead, you need to choose oils that may actually be beneficial to your health or at least not harm you – for example, olive oil, avocado oil or coconut oil.

The fight against premature aging

As a result, you can say that you should by all means limit the consumption of all types of foods that have been described above, since they all cause three dangerous processes for you – glycation, inflammation and oxidation. All of them lead to accelerated aging, so if you eat similar products, you will soon begin to notice a negative effect not only on your appearance, but also on the general state of your health. Replace these products with really healthy food, and you, on the contrary, will feel and look younger than usual.
