Installing the toilet.

Before installing the specialist need to turn off the water. This can be done with the help of a water shut-off valve located on the supply water pipe.

There are three main ways of attaching the toilet to the floor surface:

one. Installation of a toilet bowl with screws screwed into the dowels on a tiled or cement floor; Today it is the main way of fixing the toilet.

2 Fixing the toilet to a wooden board (taffeta) installed in the groove of the floor. Taffeta should be made of durable wood, which should be pre-polished well. Reliability of attachment to the floor is provided by anchors installed on the bottom of the taffeta.

As anchors, you can use nails that are driven in staggered patterns, protruding about 20 mm from taffeta. The notch in the floor is sealed with sand-cement mortar, in which taffeta with anchors is embedded.

Immediately after the solution hardens, the toilet will need to be fixed with screws, which are then lubricated with automotive graphite mixture or grease. Thanks to these coatings, if necessary, the screws can be easily unwound at any time.

At the end of the process, a resin is applied to the supporting surface of the toilet bowl, the layer of which must be at least 5 mm, then the toilet bowl is pressed tightly against the floor surface.

In the latter two cases, during the installation of the toilet bowl, it is necessary to withstand a certain time so that the epoxy resin or sand-cement mortar is completely frozen.

Therefore, be prepared for that, you will have to visit more than once the nearest paid institution or disturb your neighbors. To avoid any embarrassment, you should carefully connect the toilet to the tap-off line.

The joint of a toilet bowl that is attached to a sewer pipe is called an outlet. In turn, the release may be oblique or direct.

After the solution has fully grasped, it is necessary to treat all the outer grooves well with red lead diluted in drying oil. Then the issue should be tightly wrapped with a resin strand, which should not reach the end of the release by about 4 mm.

This is done so that the strand does not fall into the tube, and no congestion is formed. Next, the release must be inserted into the socket of the sewer passage, cleaned in advance of the old sealant.

The formed annular gap is sealed with flax buckles from flax and caulked with sand-cement mortar. In order to avoid chipping of the embossing, it is best to wrap the seam with a bandage and treat it with the remaining part of the solution.

If during the installation of the toilet bowl it is unexpectedly found that the flush tank is attached to the shelf of the toilet bowl itself, then the nozzle is attached to the neck with a rubber cuff.

One part of it is put on the nozzle itself, and the remaining part is turned inside out and stretches itself onto it, opening the end of the nozzle. After that, the neck and the nipple are connected, while part of the cuff is turned inside out and is put on the neck.

In some cases, the flush tank is not attached to the toilet bowl, but to the wall, which is located at a distance from it. In this case, the pipe is screwed to the tank, and the other end of which is handled with red lead and turns around with tow.
