It often happens that when performing eye makeup on a master class or on their own, girls face the fact that they do not know how to hold the brush correctly and in which direction to shade the shadows. Just in this master class we will look at several types of shading shadows and how to apply them with different brushes.

To work with shadows you will need the following brushes:

  • small flat shaped tongue;
  • medium flat for shading shadows;
  • fluffy brush;
  • large flat brush.

The key to high-quality shading is not only highly pigmented shadows and brushes with natural bristles, but also prepared skin for applying makeup.

First of all, we bring purity all over our face and tint it. Do not forget the dark circles under the eyes, as the makeup may look sloppy if they are not removed.

Also, for the accuracy of the makeup meets the eyebrow, which is a kind of frame. As close as possible to the color of your hair and give it the right shape.

Finally, apply a base under the shade on the eyelid and let it soak a little. After that, go very easily with a brush with a tone, causing a transparent invisible layer. Fix the surface with shadows the same color as the upper and lower eyelids.

For example, let’s take the pencil pen shading, as the further shading of the shadows will match.

Since the pencil is a greasy texture, it is best to use a good quality synthetic brush or a mixed bristle. The brush should be of such size that it was convenient for you to perform short and fast movements. Ideally, it will be in the form of a tongue.

Basically in the direction of all the shading are divided into three sides. First of all, it is the arrow shading on the upper eyelid. If it goes to the middle of the century or to the inner corner, we still try to extinguish in the beginning in one direction. Only at the corner of the eye you need to change the direction that you understand yourself, performing this kind of makeup.

We extinguish this arrow in the direction of the lower corner of the eyebrow head. Brush pile should almost lie on the eyelid. Grab the end of the part with a brush, retreating inward about 2-3 mm. Do not forget to constantly type on a brush pencil or shadow for the depth of color. We seek a smooth transition. Shading should completely repeat the shape of the part. That is, you need to follow all the lines.

In the same way we perform shading throughout the part, just changing direction. On the lower eyelid, we extinguish a pencil towards the earlobe. On the upper eyelid towards the temple. We follow the rules of shading, which were described for the arrow. Observing the original form and adhering to all the lines, you will see how the lines of the shading will unite in a beautiful petal.

There is an important rule that will help you in shading shadows: on fat textures we do not extinguish shadows, they need to be covered with initially dry ones, and then work on their surface. This also applies to the pencil. With a fluffy brush throughout the shading we apply a basic shade of shadows.

Now you can safely apply the shadow of the desired color. For example, by shading, we apply a light brown shade, and even deeper a darker brown. Apply a black shade even deeper if makeup requires it. The technique of shading shadows is the same as in the shading of a pencil, only with a new darker color we go all the time deep into.

Great helper in this case is a fluffy brush. She can very quickly shade the shadows on the upper crease, just repeating its shape.

Also, if your shading is not entirely successful and the edge turned out to be a little clear, then with such a brush you can shade the edge in the right direction without affecting the makeup. All you need to do is type some neutral shadows on it. The corner of the eye can also be decorated by taking a brush fluffy, but more dense.

Another little tip. To make up the apple, friable or usual shadows are used. It is best to apply them with a flat, wide brush, not extinguishing, but simply slamming.

Stock up on good brushes, shadows, patience, and you will get perfect shading.
