Diet Viennese waffles

In the period of the diet, when you have to give up flour, salted and smoked products, sooner or later you will want something sweet. An alternative substitute for low-calorie desserts – waffles. But then the question immediately arises: can the waffles be dietary?

True, their taste is different from the classic waffles made on the basis of sugar, butter and filled with boiled condensed milk. But diet waffles are useful, they are ideal for breakfast, dinner or snack. The calorie content of waffles is about 200 calories per hundred grams.

Per serving, consisting of 18 wafers, prepare the following ingredients:

  • two chicken eggs,
  • a glass of kefir and whole grain flour,
  • tablespoon of vegetable oil,
  • half a cup of sugar

Eggs are hammered into a deep container, sugar is poured in there and whipped with a mixer until homogeneous. In a bowl add kefir, sift flour – the dough on the consistency should resemble sour cream. At the end pour in the oil, mix everything thoroughly. Although vegetable oil helps the dough not to stick to the waffle iron, the appliance should also be lubricated before baking the waffles.

  • a glass of flour,
  • one egg,
  • one and a half glasses of water
  • a teaspoon of baking powder,
  • a pinch of salt.

Before the first and each subsequent baking process, the waffle iron is smeared with a small amount of vegetable oil.   • two yolks,

  • one hundred grams of oatmeal,
  • three egg whites,
  • tablespoon chopped peanuts,
  • teaspoon baking powder.

Oatmeal is mixed with peanuts, baking powder. If raw peanuts turned out to be on hand, they spread the nuts on a baking sheet and for fifteen minutes send them to bake in the oven. At the end of time, peels are removed from the peanuts and the nuts are ground with a blender. Separately, beat the proteins with a mixer, inject them into the dry mixture, stir. Place a full tablespoon of dough on a heated waffle iron, cover with a lid and incubate for about four minutes. At the end, remove the waffles with a wooden spatula. Finished waffles can be sweetened with honey, berries or fruits. Yogurt or low-calorie syrup is also suitable as a dietary filling for waffles.

  • four chicken eggs,
  • one hundred grams of sugar
  • a glass of flour,
  • half a cup of skimmed milk,
  • teaspoon baking powder,
  • a teaspoon of cinnamon,
  • fifty grams of butter,
  • four apples.

In a deep bowl, beat the eggs, beat them with a mixer. Put the dishes in the water bath and continue to beat the eggs with a mixer until they begin to thicken in the cream. In another container, mix all the dry ingredients, add the milk, grated apples on a fine grater. The egg mixture is injected into the flour mass, stirred. Bake waffles until rosy.
