Along with drug therapy for anemia, certain dietary recommendations are followed. First of all, a sufficient amount of full-fledged proteins that promote the synthesis of hemoglobin and erythrocytes (130 g, of which 80-95 g of animals) are introduced into the diet. Patients with anemia are recommended to include in the diet up to 130-150 g of proteins per day, mainly of animal origin (from beef, veal). Proteins are needed to build the basis of red blood cells and hemoglobin synthesis.

In the diet for anemia, fat is moderately limited (up to 70-80 g), since anemia often causes changes in the liver and bone marrow obesity, and fats inhibit blood formation. Preference should be given to easily digestible fats – dairy, sunflower and other vegetable oils.

For the same reason, more foods with lipotropic effects are included in the diet: they will protect the liver and bone marrow from obesity.

Culinary processing of the poor in this disease is allowed very different.

Yeast dishes are added to the diet daily, about 100 g of liver are eaten each day (or every other day). To prepare a yeast drink, 50-100 g of yeast is diluted with a small amount of water and brewed.

Trace elements involved in blood formation (such as iron, cobalt, manganese, zinc) enter the body with liver, lungs, meat, eggs, caviar, yeast, hematogen, wheat flour, oatmeal and buckwheat groats, vegetables, fruits, mushrooms.

With anemia, the appetite is often reduced, due to the deterioration of the secretory function of the stomach. To improve the appetite, doctors recommend to enter into the diet a sufficient amount of extractive substances and physiological – table salt. In other words, you can eat meat, fish, mushroom and vegetable broths, diversify the food with various sauces, and salt the dishes to taste.

Diet for anemia resolves:

  • black and white bread;
  • lean meat, lean fish, liver, lungs;
  • cottage cheese;
  • buckwheat;
  • eggs;
  • mushrooms;
  • vegetables fruits;
  • butter and vegetable oil;
  • wild rose, black currant and citrus;
  • yeast.

When dieting for anemia are limited to:

  • tea;
  • Wheat flour;
  • millet, oatmeal;
  • condensed milk;
  • cheese;
  • sorrel, rhubarb;
  • cocoa, chocolate.

1st breakfast. 2 soft-boiled eggs, porridge from millet with apples, coffee with milk.

Millet porridge with apples

250 g of large millet flakes, 500 ml of apple juice without sugar, 100 ml of rice or oat milk.

Soak overnight cereal in unsweetened apple juice. Then heat them over low heat in a saucepan with a thick bottom for 8-10 minutes. For a thinner consistency, add (if necessary) soy or rice milk. Millet is rich in fiber, as well as trace elements zinc, selenium and manganese, which are necessary to strengthen the immune system.
