The dietitian Mikhail Pevzner invented the mysterious name of diet No. 5 and put it into circulation. As the diet itself, however. We will tell you about the essence of the diet. It is invented not only for weight loss, but also for treatment.
What was invented diet number 5?
It helps to get rid of diseases that have tormented a person for years: malfunctioning of the gallbladder, liver, kidney disease, in particular, if there are pebbles in the gall, liver and kidneys.
These are quite complex diseases in which a limited diet is possible. Pevsner’s diet is used only by those people who do not suffer from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
The purpose of diet number 5
When a person begins to eat as recommended by Mikhail Pevzner, he normalizes the work of the liver, gall and biliary tract. Bile excretion becomes more active. As a result, the patient feels much better.
Important in Pevzner’s diet
During the diet, a person consumes the right amount of protein and carbohydrates, and a little fat in it. Fiber, liquid and pectins (they are found in many fruits) in the diet number 5 occupy a prominent place.
Pevzner does not recommend foods that contain a lot of nitrogen (such as potatoes), acid (sorrel), cholesterol (eggs, mayonnaise).
When dieting number 5 is better to avoid fried and spicy. This is bad for the gallbladder and liver.
Cold vegetables (from the refrigerator) with the diet number 5 is also better not to use.
Meat with Pevzner’s diet is rubbed or ground in a blender, vegetables – too.

How to calculate the menu during the diet number 5?
Vinaigrette, dressed with sour cream, butter, bread, medium-fat cottage cheese, soaked herring for a day (up to 20 g), tea with milk.
Boiled or baked meat, buckwheat porridge on water or milk, fresh juice.
Vegetable soup without meat with sour cream, sauerkraut, boiled fish with boiled potatoes and carrots, fruit compote (fresh).
Second dinner with
Pasta casserole with low-fat cottage cheese, cabbage patties (baked), fruit and berry compote.
The third dinner at
Berries and fruit jelly, savory bun without butter in the dough.

Permitted foods during the Pevzner diet
- Soup – the basis of the diet. They are cooked in vegetable broth with cereals. Soups can also be cooked with milk, fruit.
- Steamed or baked pork meat (and also tongue, beef meat, low-fat ham).
- Poultry meat (usually chicken).
- Fish and black caviar (fish can be poured).
- Dairy and dairy products (sour cream, cottage cheese with a low fat content, ryazhenka). Dairy or dairy products with Pevsner’s diet is allowed to consume up to 200 g per day. From them (or with them) you can cook pancakes, cheesecakes, dumplings and enjoy the taste.
- Porridges cooked in water, to which milk is added after cooking.
- Pasta or vermicelli, baked with cottage cheese or milk, or sour cream.
- Bread (dried) – and you can eat both white, and black, and gray. For flour products, which can be used, are also crackers without seasoning, biscuit, biscuit (dry), rolls or rolls pies. Flour products for the Pevsner diet are prepared without butter and without margarine.
Boiled hard boiled eggs are allowed (no more than 1 per day). You can afford to omelet from one egg, but not more.
When dieting number 5 are also recommended greens and raw vegetables. From vegetables you can still cook side dishes for meat.
Berries and fruits are also allowed. They can be eaten raw and baked. For example, baked apples.
Pevzner in its diet does not burn people for days without sweets, allowing them to eat jams from natural fruits, various jams and jam from berries, as well as honey (floral in particular), marshmallows, marmalade, candied fruits and even sugar. But there are restrictions – up to 70 grams per day.
In the diet number 5 there are also juices, natural, of course – from vegetables and fruits. Even coffee with milk or cream, tea with milk (it is well absorbed), decoctions of herbs, in particular, vitamin broth of rosehip, are allowed.
Allowed butter, vegetable oils, which can be added to cereals and salads during the diet.
It is allowed to use sauces made from berries, fruits and dairy products.
Greens and spices can also be consumed in diet No. 5, seasoning dishes with them.
